Birthdays, Art and Stars of the Week!

Hi boys,

How are you? I have been so, so, so busy lately that I haven’t had time to write any new posts in awhile. I decided to take a moment to acknowledge some very special birthdays that have recently passed:

Gonzalo M., Ale C. and Miguel C.

I am sorry I didn’t get the chance to dedicate a birthday message to you boys on your actual birthday.  So, I am going to send you an extra special belated birthday message today!

I love you boys so much and I am so sad that we couldn’t all celebrate your birthdays together at school. I hope that you all had a wonderful day and I wish you a fantastic year.

Here are some birthday videos that I dedicate to 3 these special birthday boys:

Some very cool artwork!

Over these past few weeks, we have been doing some awesome things in Visual Arts and I am so impressed by your creativity and attention to detail. I am going to share a few pictures here to give you some examples. If you want to see more, check out our Visual Arts page on this blog!

Here’s an example of the Mother’s Day tulips from Lesson 6:

In Lesson 7, we connected our Science and Spelling lessons with Visual Arts by using different materials to make mixed media artwork. I really love what you boys created! Here are some examples from our 4th grade artists:
